NHADA has teamed up with ApprenticeshipNH, a state-funded program to help train your employees.

  • 2000 hours of on-the-job training outlined in the apprenticeship standards provided by the employer
  • Related instruction: two courses provided by one of the five NH Community Colleges
  • Agreement between employer and apprentices
  • A ONE-PAGE agreement between the employer and NHADA to participate in the program

Why Apprenticeship?

  • Studies show businesses that use registered apprenticeship programs reduce worker turnover because of greater employee loyalty, increased productivity and an improved bottom line
  • Train to your standards and culture
  • Gain access to a diverse talent pool
  • Establish and promote community partnerships
  • Existing/current employees are eligible to enroll

Resources available through grants to the Community College System of NH:

  • A fully-staffed ApprenticeshipNH office and financial resources to:
    • Assist with recruiting, screening and hiring potential apprentices
    • Provide funding for apprentice training and education
    • Support apprentices by helping to overcome barriers to their education or successful on-the-job training
