June is ASE’s designated Auto Service Professionals month, and we were glad to participate in the Salem CTE Center Signing Day event last week and award our first scholarships of the season to some future auto service professionals!
The event at Salem recognized students who have been hired in their industry of choice and there were six automotive students recognized. Representatives from businesses were on hand to support them as they make their next step toward their future. Since the automotive pathway combines both career and college training, NHADA was on hand to award scholarships to students who are attending NH’s community colleges in the Fall.
Congratulations to:
- Madison Andrews who works for Ira Toyota and will be attending Lakes Region Community College. Madison was joined by Matt Cena and Adam Bryant from Ira Toyota. She received a $1500 scholarship from the NHADA Foundation.
- Jeremiah Champlin who works at Tulley Mazda and will be attending Nashua Community College. Jeremiah was joined by John Peavey, Service Manager at Tulley Mazda. He received a $1500 scholarship from the NHADA Foundation.
- Anthony Perez and Josh Emerick who work at Patriot Nissan. They were joined by Tina Lever, Service Manager at Patriot Nissan. Anthony received a $1500 scholarship from the NHADA Foundation.
- Nolan Weiner who works at Salem Ford and will be attending Manchester Community College. He received a $1500 scholarship from the NHADA Foundation.
- Dale White who works at AutoFair Ford of Haverhill and will be attending the Ford ASSET program at Manchester Community College.
Students who applied for NHADA Foundation scholarships have been notified this week. Stay tuned for our Summer Scholarship Tour as we get on the road to hand deliver scholarships to the recipients!
